Did Santa spoil you this year? If you were blessed to receive a bunch of gifts it might be a great time to consider cleaning out the toy bins, sorting through the closet or pantry, and giving back. We love to wrap up the year with a big house clean and drop off at the donation center. We have compiled a list of a few wonderful places you can donate gently used goods, clothes, toys, or food.

St Francis House | They have a wonderful mission and that is to compassionately serve the poor and those in need, strengthen individuals and families, and advocate for social justice. If you have extra food in your pantry from the holiday season consider giving it to the St. Francis House. They accept donations of perishable and non-perishable items at the CSS Main Center at 3710 East 20th Avenue between 9 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday. Click here to view the food pantry wish list.

Salvation Army | The Salvation Army did an amazing job this year around the holidays, we spent time shopping for those in need at the Northway Mall and had a blast doing so! We really love giving back to this organization. You can visit them at a few different locations around town, 300 W. Northern Lights Bl. Anchorage, AK, 99503 or 501 E. Dimond Bl. Anchorage, AK, 99515. They are currently taking charitable donations, so please head on over to their website to learn more.

Covenant House Alaska | Located at 755 A Street, Anchorage, AK 99501 is currently not accepting donation of used goods due to COVID, however, if you visit the website you can see a list of items they are in need of, click here to learn more about how you can help!

Good Will | You can do a contactless drop off weekly Monday-Sunday: 11 AM – 7 PM at one of the various donation locations. 3838 Old Seward Hwy, 1818 W Northern Lights Blvd, 501 E Dimond Blvd # 2.
